Callahan CI ("we", "us", "our") is an open-source software project. The software is provided under the MIT License and is designed to run entirely on your own infrastructure.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 The Callahan CI Software (Self-Hosted)

The Callahan CI application itself, when installed and run on your machine, does not transmit any data to us. Specifically:

• Your source code stays on your machine
• Your build logs stay on your machine
• Your secrets and environment variables stay on your machine
• Your pipeline configurations stay on your machine
• No telemetry is sent unless you explicitly enable it

The only external network requests the software makes are: to your Git provider (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) on your behalf, and to LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) using API keys you supply.

2.2 This Website (callahanci.com)

When you visit our website, we may collect:

• Usage analytics: Page views, referrer URLs, browser type, country. We use privacy-respecting analytics (no cross-site tracking).
• Contact form submissions: If you send us a message, we retain your email address and message content to respond to you.
• GitHub stars/interactions: If you interact with our GitHub repository, GitHub's own privacy policy applies.

We do not use advertising trackers, sell your data, or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies

This website uses minimal, functional cookies only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we use analytics, it is cookieless or uses first-party cookies only.

4. How We Use Your Data

Website analytics data is used solely to understand which parts of our documentation and marketing are useful. Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

5. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for 12 months. Contact form data is retained for as long as necessary to resolve your enquiry, then deleted.

Under GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing
• Data portability

7. Third-Party Services

Our website may link to or embed content from:

• GitHub (github.com) — for repository access and star counts

When you use Callahan CI with an LLM provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.), your prompts are sent to that provider under their own privacy policies. We have no control over or access to these interactions.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect data on this website. For the self-hosted software, you are responsible for the security of your own deployment. We recommend following the security guidance in our documentation.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post the updated version on this pa
